Hannah’s interest in complementary therapies began with her mother, who suffered from arthritis. Traditional medications didn’t always provide relief, so she sought alternative methods to manage pain and stress. This experience sparked Hannah’s passion for holistic healing.
Inspired to help others like her mother, Hannah enrolled in the BSc (Hons) Complementary Therapies program at UWIC in 2006. The course included diplomas in Massage, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology — giving her a strong foundation in natural therapies.
Alongside her studies, she worked as a nurse assistant at the Bristol Royal Infirmary from 2009 to 2010, gaining hands-on experience on a busy medical ward and deepening her understanding of conventional healthcare.
In 2016, Hannah began a 4-year course in Amatsu and became a fully qualified Amatsu Orthopath in 2019. Her training and experience have shaped her into a therapist who bridges holistic and conventional approaches — understanding medication side effects and chronic illness through both lenses.
Today, Hannah practices exclusively in Portishead near Bristol, offering Amatsu therapy informed by her deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and real-world healthcare. She brings a compassionate, well-rounded approach to every treatment.
